I elected skin as my ideal medium since I was a child…I drew on my schoolfellows, looking for the suitest marking pens…Then the flash for the magic of a drawing which could challenge each damage and link to a man as an everlasting consolation: the tattoo, serious and dangerous game, saving rite, journey without return.

Classicism is for me a last hope, the perfect Absolut to get into touch with the world. My own culture links together philosophy, painting and architecture in an indissolubile way. There were people who enlightened me and influenced my choices. I’ve thought about a biography which would tell about them, in order to clarify my own work.

I dedicated my tattoo-studio to Apelles: I just want to tell that, despite he was the most celebrated painter of the Classic Age, in a melancholy way we got no traces of his artistic work.
